Cathy has been a member of the Sound Partners family since 2008. After graduating from Barton College, she pursued graphic design before shifting her career. Since 2016, she has held a North Carolina Insurance Producer license (Life and Accident & Health or Sickness) and is a commissioned North Carolina Notary Public.
As Director of New Business, Cathy oversees new business operations for Sound Partners, bringing more than 17 years of experience to her role. She is passionate about creating a positive, client-first experience and works closely with both advisors and clients to ensure the new business process is clear, supportive, and well managed from start to finish.
Cathy is focused on refining and modernizing new business workflows, always with the client experience at the center. Her approach emphasizes streamlining processes and proactive communication, helping clients feel informed, reassured, and confident throughout each step of the journey. By guiding her team with care and clarity, Cathy helps ensure a seamless experience that reflects Sound Partners’ commitment to exceptional service.
Cathy has been married to her husband, John, for over 30 years and is the mother of two adult daughters, Cayla and Ava. She takes pride in her family and enjoys exercising—particularly bootcamp and CrossFit—as well as reading in her leisure time.
